It has to function in a coordinated and rational way. The people who are its members have to work together and understand their specific roles and functions. They need to receive directions and work has to be allocated. There has to be supervision of these activities. An engineering company is analogous to a machine or a living organism. In order to function properly everything has to work together smoothly.
